The Exabyte  10e (EXB10E) 8mm   library provides automated data storage, archival, backup, and retrieval for a wide range of systems, from PC networks to mainframes. Reducing the need for manual intervention, the library’s robotic handler automatically loads and unloads 8mm data cartridges from the enclosed Exabyte 8mm Full-high Tape drives. When operating with an EXB-8505 or an EXB-8500C Tape drives and assuming an average data compression, the library can store up to 100 gigabytes of information on ten 112m XL cartridges.
